Cute things Lia has said lately:
'Mommy, use your warm breath to heat up the car'. Hmm- am I part dragon?
'I love cheese boogers'. She's been saying this one for a long time and it still makes me laugh!
'Dad, your my sweet little pumpkin'. Wow, I don't think Paul's been called a sweet little pumpkin for a long time!
'Mom, its time to get a new dog, a girl dog so Monkey can get married and become a Daddy'! Ahh- that is so sweet!
New words by Lia:
Stinkerary- Being contrary and a stinker at the same time. Hmm, she's an expert on that one.
Focustrate- focus and concentrate!
Figurizing- not sure what that one means!!

A Picture Says A Thousand Words!
Here's my family! Wild, silly, unique, different! Kinda crazy but oh so cute!
First there's Lia- part ready for skiing, part ready for mardi gras, part ready for bed. All with attitude (seriously- isn't she way to young to exude that much attitude). This is a glimpse of her as a teenager when I ask her to do her homework or something...But all that bling really adds flare- it makes me laugh so much! Dramatic and theatrical all wrapped up in one cute little 5 year old.
Next there's Owen- who knows what that boy is thinking! He's naked except the double duty of diaper AND underwear. And he must think its a good idea to get ready for snow with his gloves, except he has his safari hat on. Maybe he just wants to be ready for anything! Maybe he doesn't want Lia to have all the fun! Maybe a bit of Lia's creative flare is rubbing off on him (let's hope the attitude doesn't)...
And last, there's Paul. This makes me laugh the most. He's in the midst of our crazy kiddos but has the air of complete casualness. Like he's seen this all before! Like this is a natural occurrence, nothing out of the ordinary!
Gotta love them!

It is amazing to watch your love of learning and to be here to help foster that love. You will learn many things this year, meet new friends and strengthen your mind and body. Vacation
We recently went on a trip to Alaska. It was to say the least, EPIC!! The views were amazing everywhere you looked. The air was fresh. Wildlife viewing was abundant. The family time was so special. We enjoyed our trip so much. We saw and did so much and yet it was relaxing and rejuvenating. I cannot stop thinking about all the awesomeness. I'm ready to go back!
