A Big Adventurer!

We have been enjoying some winter weather and fun activities including sledding, skiing and ice skating.  Lia has been so into trying new things and loved her first time skiing.  Paul and his Dad took her up to the mountain and they all had a blast.  She loved 'flying' down the mountain.  She loved getting the tag on her jacket.  She loved her purple helmet!  And ice skating was a much bigger hit this year than last year.  Lia loved it!  She wanted to go fast.  She wanted to chase Dad.  It was hard to keep up with her.  I am so proud of my big girl.  She is not afraid to try new things.  She is brave and adventurous.  A lover of life!  She truly amazes me every day.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all.  2013 is going to be an amazing year. 
Our holidays were great.  We had Paul's parents in town.  The kids had fun with their Mimi and Poppy.  Lia went skiing!  She loved it.  Loved her purple suit and helmet.  Loved spending the day with Dad and Poppy.  Loved gliding down the mountain (bunny hill).  Lia can write her name!  And she is getting better with drawing shapes and writing other letters.  She is super silly and loves to play and laugh and have fun.
Owen sat up for the first time.  He is now rolling over, starting to sit and just looks like he can't wait to be mobile.  When I pick him up he kicks his legs wildly!  Watch out world!  He has also started solids.  He loves avocado and bananas.  He smiles and giggles all the time.  He is starting to sleep better.
We are more settled in our home than 1 year ago.  Lia loves preschool 2 days a week.  On the other days we go to the library, rec center for swimming, the museum for arts and crafts and yoga class.  Paul ran a 5K over the weekend.  We are so proud of him!  He and Lia will definitely be going skiing again soon.
